Job summary

Kula Example is seeking a highly skilled SOC Analyst to join our 24/7 security operations center. You will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across our infrastructure and applications.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in cybersecurity or SOC operations, hands-on with SIEM tools such as Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms. A CompTIA Security+ or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cybersecurity or SOC operations experience.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) and EDR platforms.
• Security+ or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay updated on emerging threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and triage incidents in real time.
• Conduct threat hunting and forensic analysis.
• Develop detection rules and playbooks to improve response times.
• Collaborate with security engineers, incident responders, and threat intel analysts.
