Job summary

Alexander Youth Network seeks a dedicated SOAR Case Manager for the Youth Focus Program, My Sister Susan’s House (MSSH). You will work on-site to help clients integrate housing with personal goals, supporting education, employment, and life skills, while ensuring access to benefits and health coverage.

Responsibilities include assessing SOAR eligibility, collecting disability documents, and submitting applications to secure mainstream benefits for clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Meet with housing residents to complete day to day case management.
• Assist young adults in applying for mainstream benefits.
• Support youth to develop goals toward education, employment and independent life skills.
• Assist with integration of housing and individual goals for self-sufficiency.
• Assess clients’ eligibility for SOAR services and summarize disability documentation.
