Gunstock Mountain Resort is looking for Snowmakers to join the Snowmaking team. Roles involve operating and maintaining snow guns, ensuring snow quality, and supporting trail safety and operations. The position runs through mid-January with other opportunities after season.
Schedules are 12-hour shifts, days or nights, up to five days a week, weather permitting. Requirements include being 18+, HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Gunstock Mountain Resort is now accepting applications for Snowmakers to join the Snowmaking team. Our Snowmakers work around the clock (weather-permitting) on the production of machine made snow, with a strong attention to snow quality, trail safety, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; seasonal and daily preparation and utilization of snow guns; regular visual inspections and repairs to snow guns and hoses as needed; set up and relocate guns and hoses in accordance with resort snowmaking plan. Position is available immediately through mid-January. Other opportunities for employment are available after the Snowmaking season is over.
Schedules are in 12-hour shifts from 7AM-7PM (days) or 7PM-7AM (nights), up to 5 days per week. Because snowmaking operations are weather-dependent, shifts may vary. Priority consideration will be given to candidates whose availability best fits our needs.
