Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and master snowmaking.
• Comfortable operating snowmobiles/ATV's on challenging terrain.
• Ski & snowboard experience helpful but not required.
• Start Date: November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Seasonal, part-time/full-time (preferred); with possible overtime.
• Flexible schedule with primary hours possibly overnight.
• Assist in Snowmaking and transition to lift operator or maintenance when snowmaking ends.
• Operate and maintain snowmaking machinery (snow guns, pumps, hoses).
• Follow safety policies and procedures as approved by management.
• Alert Ski Patrol and report accidents to Supervisors; document incidents.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Seasonal, part-time/full-time(preferred); with possible opportunities for overtime.
• Must have a flexible schedule, primary hours for this position may be overnight.
• Assist in Snowmaking, once snowmaking season is over, opportunity to continue to work as a lift operator or maintenance (doe).
• Operate and maintain machinery used for snowmaking (snow guns, pumps, hoses, etc.).
• Carry out and adhere to all safety policies and procedures as approved by management.
• Alert Ski Patrol of any accidents that may occur. Document and report accidents to Supervisors.
• Report all equipment failures, complaints, or concerns to Supervisors.
• Carry out and document all procedures for completing the daily operations and maintenance timetable logs provided by Supervisors.
• Mark all hazardous areas according to Mount Ski Gull policy, and report hazards to the Supervisor.
• Required to work outside in a variety of elements.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• All other duties as assigned.
