Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Snowflake Engineer to join the Snowflake Center of Excellence. You will design and optimize data solutions using Snowflake, build data pipelines, and work with Agile teams to deliver client data platform solutions. Strong SQL, Python, and cloud platform experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Python or another OO language.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to the Snowflake CoE through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
