Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with CTEs, complex joins, analytics, and window functions.
• Python experience required at least intermediate.
• Real-world Snowflake experience preferred.
• Ability to profile data, identify keys, cardinality, data type, precision, scale, and skew.
• Excellent communication within the team and across departments.
• Understands scope and QA, takes initiative to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models and pipelines aligned with business objectives.
• Develop complex DBT models using macros, packages, and custom materializations.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify and resolve Snowflake query performance bottlenecks and optimize warehouse configurations.
• Design and implement data quality frameworks and testing strategies.
• Create reusable DBT packages and macros for team-wide use.
• Review and approve pull requests from junior team members.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Document architectural decisions and data lineage.
