Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with complex queries, joins, analytic functions and windowing.
• Hands-on DBT experience with macros, packages and custom materializations.
• Real-world Snowflake experience including warehouse optimization.
• Python experience at least intermediate level.
• Data profiling: keys, cardinality, types, precision, scale and data skew.
• Experience with data quality testing and validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DBT deployment processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, plus independent work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data models and pipelines aligned with business requirements.
• Develop complex DBT models using macros, packages, and custom materializations.
• Translate business needs into robust technical data solutions.
• Identify and resolve Snowflake query and DBT performance bottlenecks.
• Tune Snowflake warehouse configurations and improve query performance.
• Design and implement data quality frameworks and testing strategies.
• Create reusable DBT packages and macros for team-wide use.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for DBT deployments and review PRs.
