Qualifications

• SQL: highly skilled
• Familiar with CTEs, complex joins, analytics & windowing
• Python: some experience; intermediate+ preferred
• Snowflake: real-world experience preferred
• Data profiling: identify keys, types, precision, scale and skew
• Strong communication within team and with other groups
• Product & QA: understands scope, takes initiative

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data models and pipelines aligned with business objectives
• Develop complex DBT models with macros, packages and materializations
• Collaborate with leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Identify and resolve Snowflake query performance bottlenecks and optimize warehouse config
• Create reusable DBT packages and macros for team-wide use
• Review PRs from junior team members
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes
• Document architectural decisions and data lineage
