Qualifications

• SQL proficiency and advanced querying.
• Familiarity with CTEs, complex joins and analytic/windowing functions.
• Python experience, intermediate or higher preferred.
• Snowflake real-world experience preferred.
• Data profiling to identify keys, cardinality, data types and skew.
• Strong internal and cross-team communication.
• Understand product scope and QA, take initiative to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models and pipelines aligned with business objectives.
• Develop complex DBT models using macros, packages, and custom materializations.
• Collaborate with leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions and optimize Snowflake queries.
• Design and implement data quality frameworks and testing strategies.
• Create reusable DBT packages and macros for team-wide use.
• Review and approve PRs from junior team members and troubleshoot production issues.
• Document architectural decisions and data lineage.
