Job summary

Sugar Bowl Resort in Soda Springs, CA is seeking a full-time groomer to operate tracked grooming equipment on our ski trails and assist with routine maintenance. You will perform pre- and post-shift inspections, ensuring machines are safe and trails are well-groomed for guests.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of grooming experience with tillers and hold a valid Class C Driver License, ready to work outdoors in extreme conditions, including late evenings and early mornings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of grooming experience on modern grooming machinery with tillers.
• Valid Class C Driver License with insurance standards.
• Willingness to work outdoors in extreme mountain weather and near moving machinery.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest and partner service.
• Operate tracked grooming equipment on ski trails.
• Inspect equipment before and after use of grooming machinery.
• Assist with maintenance, including fluid checks and equipment condition.
• Document and report equipment condition to management.
• Maintain knowledge of the track system and grooming patterns.
• Report hazards or needed tree/brush removal to management and Ski Patrol.
• Work during late evenings and early mornings in extreme weather.
• Assist with snow removal and pathway clearing.
