Job summary

Sugar Bowl Resort in California is seeking a Groomer II to build, maintain, and repair Sugar Bowl's ski runs. You will operate a snowcat independently to deliver a high-quality grooming standard each night, with attention to safety and efficiency.

Candidates should have at least one season of grooming or equivalent heavy equipment experience, be willing to work day or night shifts, and enjoy working in extreme weather on challenging terrain while providing excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 season of grooming experience, or equivalent heavy equipment operation experience.
• Able to operate a snowcat with tiller attachments.
• Comfortable working day or night shifts and in extreme weather.
• Strong attention to detail and safety for high-speed, high-stress environments.
• Committed to excellent customer service for guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and light servicing of equipment.
• Groom all assigned runs each night to Sugar Bowl's quality standards.
• Attend safety meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain communication with shift leader and supervisor.
• Cross-train and assist other departments as needed.
