Job summary

Red River Ski & Summer Area is hiring snowboard coaches of all levels to deliver group and private lessons to adults and youth. Train using our handbook to ensure a safe, fun learning environment while maintaining guest safety on varied terrain at altitude.

We welcome applicants with no prior teaching experience; training is provided, and certification reimbursement is available for motivated individuals. Expect to work outdoors, weekends and holidays as part of the Ski School team.

• Serves as a public relations representative for Red River Ski & Summer Area.

• Uphold guest safety on varied terrain at high altitude.
• Clearly instruct students on assigned snowboard levels, physically and verbally.
• Willing to perform tasks outside the job parameters to meet goals.
• Work outdoors in varying winter conditions; holidays and weekends.

As a Snowboard Coach, you will join an enthusiastic community of professionals dedicated to inspiring the next generation of snowboarders.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities

• Instructs group and private lessons, both adult and youth, as assigned.
• Serves as a public relations representative for the Red River Ski & Summer Area, both on and off the job.
• Using our teaching handbook as a guide, provide a safe and fun learning environment through exceptional class handling and creativity.
• Upholding the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitudes, with varying winter weather conditions.
• Clearly and accurately instruct students on assigned snowboarding levels, both physically and verbally.
• Willingly perform any task outside the assigned job parameters, which may be required to help the Ski School Departments or Red River Ski & Summer Area meet required goals or standards.
