Job summary

PSIA-AASI Western Region and Red River Ski & Summer Area are seeking certified ski coaches of all levels to create memorable guest experiences and coach both group and private lessons for adults and youth.

Coaches will promote safety on varied terrain, uphold high guest-safety standards, and engage with guests to deliver exceptional learning experiences that celebrate the mountain environment.

Qualifications

• Instructs group and private lessons for adults and youth.
• Represents the Red River Ski & Summer Area in public relations roles.
• Maintains safe, fun learning environments with strong class management.

Responsibilities

• Instructs group and private lessons, both adult and youth, as assigned.
• Serves as a public relations representative for the Red River Ski & Summer Area, both on and off the job.
• Using our teaching handbook as a guide, provides a safe, fun learning environment through exceptional class management and creativity.
• Uphold the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain at high altitudes, with varying winter weather conditions.
• Clearly and accurately instruct students on assigned levels of skiing, both physically and verbally.
• Willingly perform any task outside the assigned job parameters, which may be required to help the Ski School Departments or Red River Ski & Summer Area meet required goals or standards.

Education and/or Experience

• Certification training is provided.

Pay Ranges from 17.65$ -32.65$ an hour, depending on certifications and experience
