Job summary

Red River Ski Area Inc in New Mexico is seeking energetic ski instructors of all levels to join our team and help guests create memorable mountain experiences, from beginners to advanced skiers.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; certification reimbursement is available for motivated individuals. You will instruct both youth and adult lessons, model safe technique, adapt teaching to individuals, and work outdoors on weekends and holidays in a wide range of winter conditions.

Responsibilities

• Instructs group and private lessons, both adult and youth, as assigned.
• Serves as a public relations representative for the Red River Ski Area, both on and off the job.
• Provide a safe and fun learning environment through exceptional class handling and creativity.
• Upholding the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitudes, with varying winter weather conditions.
• Clearly and accurately instruct students on assigned levels of skiing, both physically and verbally.
• Willingly perform any task outside the assigned job parameters, which may be required to help the Ski School Departments or Red River Ski Area meet required goals or standards.
• The work environment characteristics described here represent those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Employees should expect to work holidays and weekends.
