Job summary

Clintar is hiring a Snow Removal Lead for the winter season. Join our ice and snow team focused on efficient clearing and de-icing. All roles are on-call, often overnight, and contingent on winter conditions. Candidates must be available on short notice, round the clock.

Clintar seeks a capable leader with 2–4 years of supervisory experience, able to manage a crew, ensure safety and efficiency, and coordinate with property owners during storms.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience as a snow removal crew lead or any leadership role.
• Must possess a cellphone with data.
• From November – April, must be available on short notice and on-call depending on weather conditions and storms.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate snow removal equipment safely.
• Experience supervising a team and handling customer inquiries professionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead snow team, and direct crew members in de-icing and snow removal tasks.
• Responsible for removing snow and ice from designated areas, such as parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, and roadways.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of snow removal equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Ensure all snow removal activities are conducted safely with proper gear and equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors, property owners, or managers to provide updates on progress and issues.
• Apply salt or de-icing agents to surfaces to prevent ice and improve safety.
• Operate heavy machinery such as snowplows, front-end loaders, or snowblowers safely.
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as heavy snowfall during the night.
