Job summary

Eaglecrest Ski Area in Juneau, Alaska, is seeking rental technicians for the winter season. You will help guests fit boots, select equipment, and guide them through the rental process while using the POS system to finalize contracts and DIN calculations.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, bindings testing, waxing, and inventory logging. This role requires weekend work and a friendly, customer-focused approach in a busy alpine environment.

Qualifications

• Experience adjusting rental ski bindings.
• Experience waxing rental equipment.
• Must be 18 years old at time of appointment.
• Continued employment depends on annual binding certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist users with proper boot fitting and selecting equipment.
• Verify customer information on rental contracts using the POS system and calculate DIN settings.
• Maintain and test bindings, wax skis and snowboards throughout the day.
• Scan equipment back into inventory and disinfect/inspect for damage; document damaged gear and route for servicing.
