Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SNICU) on a 36-hour night schedule. The SNICU handles trauma, neurology, cardiac surgical, and vascular cases with patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license orlicensure eligible.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS in certain units.
• Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care unit across the nursing process.
• Communicate with care teams, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate care activities with colleagues.
• Maintain and update patient records and data.
• Follow unit guidelines and engage in quality improvement.
