Job summary

Canyon Springs Post Acute in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced Dietary Cook to join our dietary services team and support residents with nutritious, therapeutic meals. • Prior SNF/post-acute/healthcare kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and texture-modified diets.
• Able to work AM and PM shifts; ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals per established menus and therapeutic guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and physician orders.
• Maintain proper food storage, sanitation, and infection control.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with Dietary Manager and care team to support resident nutrition.
