Job summary

Monrovia Gardens Healthcare Center in Monrovia, CA is seeking a full-time Business Development/Marketer to develop and implement a marketing plan aimed at increasing facility census with a Medicare, Medi-Cal, managed care and private payer mix in line with guidelines.

You will collaborate with the Administrator, schedule marketing appointments, and maintain relationships with physicians, case managers and discharge planners while ensuring timely referrals and PDPM-compliant admissions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred
• Minimum 2–5 years of healthcare sales/marketing/admissions experience
• Persuasive in English, both verbal and written
• Charismatic in delivering marketing presentations
• Ability to work with case managers, social workers and physicians
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; accurate with patient/resident information

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement a marketing plan to meet monthly census goals
• Collaborate with Administrator to achieve census objectives
• Schedule and report weekly marketing appointments
• Contact acute care case managers, social workers, discharge planners and physicians daily
• Maintain physician and case manager contact database
• Promote facility visibility through local community events
• Ensure PDPM compliance with documentation for admissions
• Adhere to HIPAA and facility policies
