Job summary

StockX Inc. is seeking a Sneakers Category Manager to lead growth for sneakers within a new high-priority commerce initiative. You will serve as the in-house expert on sneaker culture, economics, and community impact, translating insights into supply growth, engagement, and GMV.

You will own category strategy, recruit flagship sellers, collaborate with product and marketing, and build the playbook for scalable category ownership across the StockX platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in category management, partnerships, marketplace growth, brand, or operator roles in sneakers, streetwear, or adjacent ecosystems.
• Deep knowledge of sneaker culture, networks, and resale dynamics.
• Strong relationship builder with credibility among sellers, creators, and community members.

Responsibilities

• Own the Sneakers Category End-to-End: define growth strategy and drive supply, engagement, and revenue.
• Be the Market & Culture Expert: stay current on sneaker culture, pricing, and liquidity.
• Supply & Creator Acquisition: build a pipeline of sellers, shops, influencers, and creators; onboard flagship sellers.
• Commerce Strategy & Category Moments: orchestrate sneaker moments, campaigns, and formats to boost engagement and conversions.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: collaborate with Product, Partnerships, and Marketing to inform roadmap and platform decisions.
• Build the Playbook: document learnings, create reusable frameworks, support team expansion.
