StockX is seeking a Sneakers Category Manager who embodies sneaker culture and drives growth across supply, engagement, and GMV within a new high-priority initiative.

You will own the category end-to-end, becoming the internal authority on sneakers and the external face to sellers and creators. This role blends culture, strategy, and hands-on execution, with opportunities to scale into broader portfolio leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of category management, partnerships, marketplace growth, brand, or operator roles in sneakers, streetwear, or adjacent ecosystems.
• Data-literate and commercially minded — you understand pricing, margins, liquidity, and incentives.
• Strong relationship builder with credibility among sellers, creators, and community members.

Responsibilities

• Own sneakers category end-to-end: define and execute growth strategy; own supply, engagement, and revenue.
• Be the market & culture expert: stay current on sneaker culture, sellers, creators, and market dynamics.
• Supply & creator acquisition: build pipelines of sellers, shops, influencers, and creators; recruit flagship sellers.
• Commerce strategy & category moments: identify moments and campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
• Cross-functional leadership: collaborate with product, engineering, and partnerships to influence roadmap.
• Build the playbook: document learnings and support future category leadership.
