Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC is seeking a SNAP Quality Assurance Consultant to support state agencies in improving payment accuracy and case processing. The role focuses on analyzing SNAP eligibility operations, QA processes, and performance data to deliver effective solutions.

You will observe processes, review findings, and coach staff on improvements. This position requires extensive SNAP policy knowledge, quality control expertise, and the ability to work with multiple project teams on

Qualifications

• Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of SNAP eligibility policy and related rules.
• Deep experience with SNAP Quality Control processes and error-rate calculations.
• Ability to coach and advise client state agencies and leaders.
• Detail- and process-improvement oriented with an independent work style.

Responsibilities

• Observe and analyze current state eligibility operations and case processing.
• Review QC findings and data to identify root causes of payment errors.
• Translate findings into actionable improvements (training, policy clarifications, system changes).
• Perform in-depth case reviews to identify causes of payment errors.
• Identify measures to reduce errors, improve efficiency and customer service.
• Develop tools to support QA activities and prioritize error-prone cases.
• Advise agency leaders on implementation and change management.
• Coach supervisors and eligibility staff on process enhancements.
