Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) is seeking a highly motivated SNAP Quality Assurance Consultant to support states in improving payment accuracy and case processing. The role requires hands-on experience with SNAP eligibility, QA processes, and coaching PCG clients across state agencies.

This position emphasizes observing current operations, analyzing QC findings, and translating insights into training, policy clarifications, or system changes to deliver effective solutions for public sector

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years supervising SNAP eligibility staff and/or performing SNAP QA activities.
• Deep knowledge of SNAP policy and eligibility rules.
• Experience with SNAP Quality Control processes and error-rate calculations.
• Ability to coach and advise state agencies, leadership, and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Observe and analyze current state eligibility operations and case processing.
• Review Quality Control findings to identify root causes of payment errors.
• Translate QC findings into actionable improvement strategies and training materials.
• Conduct in-depth case reviews to pinpoint payment error root causes.
• Identify measures to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and enhance customer service.
• Develop tools to support QA activities, including prioritization of error-prone cases.
• Advise agency leaders on implementation and change management.
• Coach supervisors and eligibility staff on process and system enhancements.
