Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC is seeking a highly motivated SNAP Quality Assurance Consultant to join our human services practice. The role focuses on analyzing SNAP eligibility operations, QA processes, and performance data to deliver improvements for state agencies.

You will observe current processes, identify root causes of payment errors, translate findings into actionable strategies, and coach agency staff on enhancements to business processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of SNAP eligibility policy.
• 5+ years supervising SNAP eligibility staff or QA activities.
• Strong communication and ability to coach state agencies.

Responsibilities

• Observe and analyze state eligibility operations and case processing.
• Review QC findings to identify root causes of payment errors.
• Translate QC findings into training, policy clarifications, or process changes.
• Perform in-depth case reviews to identify root causes of payment errors.
• Identify measures to reduce payment errors and improve efficiency.
• Develop tools to prioritize and review error-prone cases.
• Advise agency leaders on implementation and change management.
• Coach supervisors and eligibility staff on process improvements.
