Job summary

ForHealth Consulting at UMass Chan Medical School seeks a SNAP Program Manager to lead the SNAP Employment and Training portfolio (MA- SNAP Path to Work) and oversee the AES team. You will supervise staff, coordinate partner recruitment, training, budgeting, and quarterly claims, while driving process improvements and performance across the program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated strong experience in supervision with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
  • Proficiency in computer-based tools, including spreadsheets and word processing software (MS Office Suite).

Responsibilities

  • Provide supplemental oversight to the SNAP Senior Program Manager and manage general operations of the unit to meet goals.
  • Oversee and manage staff activities related to preparing and completing federal claims and monitoring contracted partners.
  • Review claims for accuracy and compliance and authorize submissions as needed.
  • Lead partner reviews and audits, including budget reviews and annual performance evaluations.
  • Help develop budgets and implement improvements to SNAP programs to expand partnerships and optimize federal reimbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal rules and regulations governing the SNAP program.
