Job summary

SSP America is looking for a Snack Bar Attendant to prepare, serve, and sell beverages and foods for guests in a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, take orders, and handle payments while upholding health and recipe standards.

Ideal candidates enjoy quick service environments, have a friendly demeanor, and can work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in quick service restaurants or fast casual concepts preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and courtesy.
• Ability to work in fast-paced airport/foodservice environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from customers and provide correct change.
• Serve a variety of beverages and foods to guests.
• Follow recipes and ensure proper portions, garnish, and presentation.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Perform standard cleaning tasks and maintain health standards.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Our Snack Bar Attendants are experts at a few things:

If you’ve enjoyed working in quick service restaurants, coffee or tea shops, or fast casual restaurant concepts, you’ll fit in on our team!

Here are a few things you can expect as a Snack Bar Attendant:

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
• Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
