Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer, SMT for Starlink, based in Bastrop, TX. You will lead supplier qualification and NPI for SMT/PCBA, drive process improvements, and manage ramp-ups at global supplier sites to meet high-volume production demands.

Qualifications

2+ years in PCBA manufacturing with SMT focus.
Hands-on experience with SMT equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier qualification, development and performance management for SMT/PCBA.
Drive NPI activities for new SMT lines and yield optimization.
Identify and resolve SMT defects and process inefficiencies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DFM/DFA feedback.
Travel to supplier sites up to 50% for audits and ramp-ups.
