Job summary

Milwaukee Electronics is seeking an SMT Process Technician to support production on the floor, troubleshoot build processes with engineers, and develop machine programs. You will help drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing while ensuring accurate build documentation and data in ERP systems.

The role requires hands-on electronics manufacturing experience, training in process technologies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize production quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on electronics manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and reports.
• Proficient across multiple software systems and data handling.
• Strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate engineering support for build processes and equipment on the floor.
• Oversee production for prototype and NPI assemblies requiring engineering input.
• Develop, manage, and update machine programs for production equipment.
• Program and maintain jobs in Factory Logix MES, ensuring accurate data reflection.
• Update materials lists and ERP settings for build documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to improve processes.
• Train operators and technicians on procedures and processes; document training.
