Job summary

Honeywell INC. in North Branford, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for SMT/PCBA to own and improve end-to-end assembly processes, drive FPY and OEE, and lead NPI and transfers on-site.

You will collaborate across Ops, Quality, R&D and Supply Chain, applying SPC, DOE and PFMEA to deliver data-driven, compliant manufacturing solutions with strong documentation and cross-site impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering in SMT/PCBA production.
• Hands-on SMT process knowledge: printing, placement, reflow, SPI/AOI.
• Statistical methods, DOE, process capability and structured problem solving.
• Experience documenting NPI, process validation, change control.
• Strong English communication and global cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve end-to-end SMT processes and material handling.
• Develop process specs, recipes, setup sheets and control plans.
• Lead DfM/DFx reviews, tooling readiness, validation and production release.
• Use SPC, DOE and Pareto analysis to improve FPY and OEE.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions with documentation.
• Create and optimize placement programs, stencil designs, reflow profiles.
• Establish preventive maintenance and monitor equipment health.
• Coordinate with design, suppliers and manufacturing partners.
