Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an SMT Operator to support Surface Mount Technology manufacturing for PCB assemblies.

You will operate SMT equipment, load components, perform visual inspections, and assist with quality documentation while maintaining high manufacturing standards. Responsibilities include machine setup and changeovers, supporting solder paste printing, AOI/X‑ray inspection, and rework as needed, with strict adherence to ESD, safety, and IPC guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in SMT manufacturing or electronics assembly.
• Ability to read work instructions, assembly drawings, or manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support SMT production equipment.
• Load components, verify BOMs, and replenish feeders.
• Perform PCB inspections and identify defects.
• Support solder paste printing and stencil setup.
• Assist machine setup, changeovers, and QA documentation.
• Support AOI, X-ray, testing, or rework as assigned.
• Maintain traceability and follow ESD/safety procedures.
