Job summary

Titan Circuits in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an SMT Operator to safely and efficiently run surface mount equipment, load materials, monitor printers and placement machines, and ensure products meet work instructions and quality standards.

The role collaborates with manufacturing leadership, process engineering, quality, maintenance, and inspectors to maintain line readiness, traceability, and continuous improvement across SMT operations, including stencil printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years SMT/electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating stencil printers, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI or related SMT equipment.
• Basic understanding of polarity, orientation, feeder setup, and board handling.
• Ability to read travelers, work instructions, and setup sheets.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor SMT production equipment per instructions and schedules.
• Run stencil printers, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow ovens, AOI, conveyors and related equipment.
• Verify machine readiness, programs, feeder setups, tooling, and material availability.
• Perform changeovers, loading, line startup, and ensure throughput per quality standards.
• Maintain clean workstation and record downtime and defects for traceability.
