Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering, Inc. is seeking individuals with familiarity with Surface Mount (SMT) Operations to load and/or run the Surface Mount Placement machine for PCB assemblies. Openings available on 1st and 2nd shift in Sun Prairie, WI.

Responsibilities include following production docs, prepping and programming screens, loading feeders, verifying BOM accuracy, performing maintenance, and keeping accurate counts while inspecting for defects. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience with Mydata, Mycronic, and ASM software is preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow production documents to understand the project.
• Prep boards, mask, glue, and program screen-printer.
• Load feeders and magazines to optimize the machine.
• Verify component and BOM part numbers against BOM.
• Evaluate components for conformance and quantity.
• Perform preventative and general maintenance on machines.
• Maintain accurate counts of products at the workstation and inspect for defects.
• Demonstrate technical capacity, problem solving, results orientation, organization, time management, attention to detail, and teamwork.
