Job summary

Fralock is seeking an SMT Operator I for the Milpitas, CA site on the 1st shift. This full-time role includes a benefits package with medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and PTO.

On-site work, with emphasis on setting up printers and SMT feeders, and operating SMT equipment to assemble FPCA components. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 0–1 years in manufacturing, with English communication skills and familiarity with IPC A610 standards being a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience with SMT/FPCA preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Familiarity with IPC A610 standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for printer set up, SMT feeder set-up and machine operation.
• Able to identify electronic component's mfg. p/n, values, etc.
• Follow production priorities as established by the EMS Lead and/or Manager.
• Read BOM, setup list, assembly drawing and material audit list.
• Monitor quality of work and compliance with process and product specifications.
• Communicate to department supervisor any changes in production status.
• Follow company policies and departmental processes and procedures.
