This full-time, on-site Fuji SMT Operator role is based in Fremont, CA on the swing shift. The Fuji SMT Operator will set up, operate, and monitor Fuji Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment to assemble electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to production schedules and quality standards. Daily tasks include loading and aligning feeders, verifying correct components and programs, performing changeovers, and conducting visual checks to ensure proper soldering and placement. The role includes basic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting machine issues, and working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve process problems and minimize downtime. The operator will follow SEM's safety, ESD, and quality procedures, document production information, and support continuous improvement in throughput and yield.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds, work in an ESD-controlled manufacturing environment, and perform repetitive tasks while following all safety procedures.
This position works in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment supporting high-mix, low-to-medium volume PCB assembly. Morning and evening shifts are available.
