Job summary

Fralock is seeking an SMT Operator I for on-site work in Milpitas, CA. The role covers printer setup, SMT feeder setup, and machine operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements include HS diploma, 0-1 years in manufacturing, English communication, and IPC A610 familiarity. This on-site position offers medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in FPCA manufacturing is a plus.
• English communication sufficient to perform the job.
• Familiarity with IPC A610 standards is a plus.
• Ability to operate an SMT machine.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for printer setup, SMT feeder setup and machine operation
• Able to identify electronic component's mfg. p/n, values, etc.
• Follow production priorities as established by the EMS Lead and/or Manager
• Read BOM, setup list, assembly drawing and material audit list
• Monitor quality of work and compliance with process and product specifications
• Communicate to department supervisor any changes in production status
• Follow company policies and departmental processes and procedures

Typical Duties

Required Skills

• Experience in the FPCA (Flexible Printed Circuit Assembly) manufacturing a plus
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
• Familiarity with IPC A 610 standards and military specifications a plus
• Able to oprerate an SMT Machine

• 0-1 years minimum in a manufacturing environment
• Operators are required to have Hazardous Communication training covering cyanide safety after accepting job offer. The training must be completed before work assignments are given.
