Job summary

Integrity Staffing Solutions in Plano, TX is hiring an SMT Operator for a first shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) to operate and monitor SMT production equipment used to assemble PCBAs. You will load materials, support setups, inspect output, maintain records, and follow ESD and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read technical documents/work instructions (and schematics as needed).
• Ability to stand for extended periods; ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred: 1+ year experience in SMT/PCBA manufacturing; familiarity with ESD practices and IPC standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMT production equipment following work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Load and verify components/materials (feeders, reels, trays) and confirm part/lot traceability.
• Monitor equipment, respond to alarms/jams, and perform basic troubleshooting within training.
• Support setup/changeover procedures and verify feeder locations and placement vs. documentation.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections; identify and segregate defects.
• Maintain ESD controls (wrist straps/ESD footwear/mats, etc.) and follow IPC workmanship expectations.
• Complete production documentation and records; support cleaning and operator-level preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S practices.
• Communicate shortages, quality issues, and delays to leads/supervisors promptly.
