Frequency Electronics, Inc. in Uniondale, NY is seeking an entry-level SMT assembler to join our electronics manufacturing team. You will participate in assembly and inspection of PCBAs, with on‑the‑job training provided.

The role involves reading engineering drawings, following instructions, and using basic production equipment such as stencil printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. Prior SMT experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Strong computer and written skills are desired.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to handle small electronic components.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent communication and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level SMT Assembler to join our electronics manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will responsible for assembly, inspection, of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). Previous SMT/manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; on‑job training will be provided.

The candidate ability to sit or stand for extended periods and to lift up to 25 pounds. Operate basic production equipment safely and efficiently. Stencil Pinter, Pick and Place machine, Reflow oven, PCBA.s clean machine. Comfortable using microscopes or magnification equipment. Plus other assembly tools and able to read and interpret assembly documents and engineering drawings.

Education And Required Skills
