Job summary

Burton EMS is hiring an SMT Machine Operator to support electronics manufacturing. You will operate and program SMT equipment to build PCB assemblies for medical and industrial applications, with full training provided.

You will set up solder paste printers and pick-and-place machines, monitor performance, and perform quick adjustments. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working Monday-Thursday on 10-hour shifts in a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program SMT machines like solder paste printers, pick-and-place systems, and reflow ovens.
• Load feeders and ensure proper alignment for automated placement.
• Monitor machines, perform quality checks, and make real-time adjustments.
• Perform minor maintenance and keep machines running smoothly.
• Inspect finished PCBs using magnifiers, microscopes, or AOI systems.
• Troubleshoot with the team to resolve issues quickly.
• Record production data and machine performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
