Job summary

Hamilton Connections, Inc. is seeking an SMT operator for a manufacturing role in Danbury, CT. This temp-to-hire position runs 7 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday, with a starting wage of $19.50 per hour. You will set up and operate screen printers, paste inspection, pick and place, and a reflow oven, under supervision. Ideal candidates have technical electronics training or related production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

• Able to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems needing supervisor assistance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate screen printer, paste inspection, pick and place, and reflow oven.
• Work with group leader and setup person to run jobs on machines as directed by supervisor.
• Perform intermediate preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order.
• Monitor product during production and take immediate action if quality is not met.
• Inform supervisor of adjustments needed to achieve acceptable quality levels.
• Enter transactions into computer and maintain logs/records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate screen printer, paste inspection, pick and place, and reflow oven
• Work in conjunction with group leader, setup person, in the setup and running of jobs on machines as directed by the supervisor
• Perform intermediate level preventative maintenance on machinery
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order
• Monitor product during production to ensure acceptable quality, responsible to take immediate action if quality standards are not met
• Inform the supervisor or group leader of any adjustments needed to the process or equipment in order to achieve acceptable quality levels
• Enter transaction into computer, completes logs and records as required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
