Job summary

Hamilton Connections, Inc. in Danbury CT is seeking an AOI operator for a temp-to-hire role. Hours are 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday, with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour. Benefits include medical insurance and sick pay.

The position involves reviewing AOI inspections for SMT paste and solder defects, loading programs, and visually inspecting PC boards to ensure quality. Opportunities exist to learn new skills while supporting production operations.

Qualifications

• Technical high school or associates degree in electronics and/or experience in production of and/or inspection of printed circuit boards preferred
• Ability to read and understand process sheets, visual aids, assembly drawings, and component polarity
• Must be able to sit for long periods and pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Review AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of SMT paste, component placement and solder joint defects
• Load programs per documentation
• Visually inspect PC boards to confirm acceptable soldering
• Identify defects to IPC-A-610 standards and communicate issues for immediate correction
• Enter transactions into computer, complete logs and records as required
