Job summary

Hamilton Connections, Inc. is seeking workers for assembler roles at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions with two shifts available.

First shift runs 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. and pays $19 per hour; second shift runs 3:30 p.m.–12 a.m. and pays $21 per hour. Duties include assembling, inspecting, packaging, and coordinating with shipping.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction and production order.
• Accurately pick necessary parts for production orders.
• Execute special tasks within the assembly process.
• Maintain order at the workplace and support team collaboration.
• Perform order printing, label creation, and order tracking as needed.
• Coordinate transport arrangements with shipping.

Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for assembler positions at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions.

The second shift is 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $21 an hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick necessary parts for production orders
• Assemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction and production order in a quality and schedule-minded fashion
• Execute special tasks within the assembly process
• Mount items necessary for fulfilling the assembly orders of sub-components and finished products
• Maintain order at the workplace
• Temporary assignments as floater in different assembly teams
• Cooperation within assembly team
• Perform computer and administrative work such as order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking
• Coordinate transport arrangements with shipping
• Prioritize and arrange production papers and pick list based on commitment level to customers

Job Requirements:

• Assembly and/or manufacturing experience
• Forward thinking with good time management skills
• Average manual dexterity
• Mechanical ability necessary
• Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including moderate to heavy lifting and standing for long periods
• Able to operate manufacturing equipment and electronic test equipment
• Able to read and write in English
• Able to work overtime
