Job summary

Hamilton Connections, Inc. is seeking an SMT operator for a manufacturing role in Danbury, CT. This temp-to-hire position runs 7 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m., Monday–Thursday, with a starting wage of $19.50 per hour. You will set up and operate screen printers, paste inspection, pick and place, and a reflow oven, under supervision. Ideal candidates have technical electronics training or related production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Technical high school or associate's degree in electronics preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Able to solve minor problems and recognize bigger problems needing supervisor assistance.
• Good attention to detail.
• Team player with physical capabilities for the job.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate screen printer, paste inspection, pick and place, and reflow oven.
• Work with group leader and setup person to run jobs on machines as directed by supervisor.
• Perform intermediate preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order.
• Monitor product during production and take immediate action if quality is not met.
• Inform supervisor of adjustments needed to achieve acceptable quality levels.
• Enter transactions into computer and maintain logs/records.
• Other duties as assigned.
