Flex is seeking an Associate Operations Supervisor –2ndShift in Austin, TX. This hands-on leadership role oversees safety, quality, delivery, and readiness in an SMT PCB assembly environment, leading from the production floor to keep operations stable today and for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver operational results.
• Strong communication skills and a visible floor presence.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and execution discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own shift performance and deliver production schedules.
• Maintain quality results (FPY, variation).
• Drive rapid, structured response to equipment or process disruptions.
• Identify production gaps and resolve them through disciplined problem solving.
• Ensure actions have ownership and follow-through.
• Confirm line readiness for changeovers and material verification.
• Enforce operating standards, safety, and execution discipline.
• Lead from the production floor with a visible leadership presence.
• Coach and develop operators and leads; foster accountability.
• Collaborate with maintenance, methods, and process engineering on downtime, setup, defects, and root cause analysis.
