Job summary

Foxconn is seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor/Engineer to lead the night SMT production team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in Houston, TX. You will supervise SMT Operators and Technicians, manage startup and staffing, monitor KPIs, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in SMT manufacturing, 2+ years in a supervisory role, hands-on experience with SMT equipment (Fuji, Panasonic, ASM, Mycronic), and strong IPC-A-610

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in SMT/electronics manufacturing.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role (Team Lead, Supervisor).
• Hands-on SMT equipment experience (Fuji, Panasonic, ASM, Mycronic).
• Strong IPC-A-610 knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of SMT Operators, Technicians, and line personnel.
• Manage daily shift start-up and ensure lines are staffed and ready for production.
• Monitor line performance: cycle times, throughput, OEE in real time.
• Execute the production schedule and communicate issues affecting deadlines.
• Coordinate with prior and subsequent shifts for smooth transitions.
• Enforce IPC-A-610 quality standards and oversee inspections and CAPA.
