Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience related to production/manufacturing.
• Typically requires 6 years of operations experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates operations and technical skills with understanding of Flex policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and write reports and procedures.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Leads the production of several processes/lines to ensure success.
• Evaluates daily plant performance and advises on changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Lead a team of operators to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements.
• Troubleshoot and analyse operational problems and guide discussions to improve performance.
• Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements with engineers to develop proposals.
• Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
• May act as principal interface between operation and maintenance.
• Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
• Prioritize production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and management of expenses.
• Maintain safe and compliant work environment.
