Job summary

Responsibilities include component setup and verification, loading parts, placing components, reading BOMs and drawings, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment, while collaborating with site engineers and supervisors to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years experience preferred or transferable knowledge from similar industries.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; present information clearly to others.
• Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret charts and diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery and identify safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and verification of all components for the pick and place machine.
• Verify solder paste operation; load parts, reels, trays and sticks to proper feed.
• Perform manual component placement and inspect boards before start-up.
• Read and utilize BOM and Assembly Drawings.
• General machine cleaning and light maintenance per SOPs.
• Work with site engineers to improve processes.
• Perform quality checks and inspect parts for defects.
