Job summary

ADP, Inc. seeks a Machine Operator to support production through setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing equipment.

You will inspect finished products against tolerances using precision tools and correct minor machine malfunctions to keep processes running smoothly. Responsibilities include unloading parts, performing equipment set-up, operating diverse machinery, and maintaining stock of materials and parts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of previous machine operating experience.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
• Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Unload parts and inspect for quality and perform equipment set-up.
• Operate various equipment to meet production and business needs.
• Maintain stock of material and machine parts for equipment.
• Determine parts to be manufactured based upon production, orders and stock.
• Observe and maintain machines operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
