Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to provide advanced technical support for SMT and PCBA manufacturing, including setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated production equipment.

You will lead equipment readiness for NPI and production, validate process parameters, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams. The role requires 3–5 years of SMT/PCBA experience, an associate degree in a related technical field, and strong problem-solving

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3–5 years supporting SMT/PCBA manufacturing in electronics environment.
Experience with SMT equipment including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI, conveyors.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize SMT/PCBA equipment and process parameters.
Lead equipment readiness and validate process parameters for NPI and production.
Perform system verifications, first-piece inspections, and changeovers.
Develop machine programs, feeder configurations, and tooling for repeatable processes.
Collaborate across Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production to drive improvements.
