Job summary

CoWorx Staffing Services in Gray, Maine is seeking an experienced SMT Line Operator to support daily operation, performance, and troubleshooting of an SMT production line in a fast-paced electronics environment.

The role focuses on equipment optimization, changeovers, quality improvement, and assisting with line startups, program changes, and process adjustments. Second and weekend shifts are available to meet production needs.

Qualifications

Experience operating and troubleshooting SMT production equipment.
Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing and assembly processes.
Experience with AOI and X-Ray inspection systems preferred.
Ability to adjust equipment and programs to improve performance.
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate and support SMT production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
Respond to and troubleshoot production line issues to minimize downtime.
Assist with line startups, product changeovers, and program adjustments.
Operate inspection equipment including AOI and X-Ray systems.
Train and support production team members as needed.
Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on new equipment and process implementation.
Support quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
