Job summary

Selectemp is seeking a dedicated SMT Operator in Corvallis, OR, to support a high-tech electronics manufacturing team. You will handle feeder setup, stencil printing, reflow profiling and SMT machine operation, performing routine maintenance and quality checks.

The role emphasizes precision, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with QA and SMT management to ensure high-quality PCA output and continuous process improvements. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCA assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and assembly instructions.
• Detail-oriented with strong adherence to SOPs.
• Teamplayer with good communication and adaptability.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods at equipment.

Responsibilities

• Feeder setup/teardown, verify component placement and labeling to reduce downtime.
• Stencil printer setup, align stencils, apply solder paste, and run tests.
• Load and execute proper reflow profiles for each run.
• Operate SMT pick-and-place equipment and perform routine checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot SMT equipment.
• Coordinate with QA to inspect boards and document deviations.
• Participate in cross-training and library maintenance for improvements.
